Traditionally the wood of choice for luthiers around the world. Ebony is amazingly dense, stable, and of course beautiful. These blanks will finish down to a velvety smoothness you can only get with African Ebony.

The blanks color are generally black, but frequently comes streaked with small chocolate-colored brown lines. (See photo) These also look great with a Mahogany or Koa body.
