Curly Koa binding sets for your next ukulele project. Binding, or "purfling" is a thin strip of material installed around the edges of the ukulele body. The binding serves to strengthen the side-to-body connection while hiding the joint. Binding will also protect the soundboard edges.

We mill these sets from air-dried, straight grain, quartersawn Curly Koa. Each set includes four pieces, enough material to bind a Baritone uke. To view examples of bound ukuleles, please visit our gallery page.
